Frequently Asked Questions 

  • What ages is the Chundee for? 

The Chundee is suitable for 6 months right through until your child is able to hold a bucket themselves. Our eldest daughter is 5 and can still use it if needed. 

  • Is the Chundee BPA, Pthlates and PVC Free? 

As parents of three amazing children, we take health & safety very seriously. All Chundee products are BPA, Pthlates and PVC free, so you can be assured that when choosing our products that your children are safe. 

Why is this important? While Australia has not yet banned these materials (unlike the EU and USA), research has shown that the use of BPA, Pthlates and PVC could cause harm, with connections to developmental & hormonal issues and various cancers.  

Moreover, PVC is a known carcinogen, it is difficult to recycle, and the production of PVC has adverse outcomes on the environment. When it comes to the safety of our children and protecting the environment, we avoid these materials. 

  • How much can the Chundee Bib hold? 

Up to 1L of liquid, which is roughly 2-3 times more than a small child is likely to vomit.  

  • Is the Chundee made in Australia? 

The Chundee has been researched, designed and tested in Australia and manufactured in China. Unfortunately, we were unable to find an Australian manufacturer to create our product.  

  • My child doesn't vomit often, is it worth getting a Chundee? 

Absolutely!! If you travel at all whether it be by road, sky or sea, the Chundee is ALWAYS a good idea. With the handy wet bag to store it in you can fold it up and pack it in your nappy bag or store it in the car for the “just in case” moments. Chundee is not just for the car. It can be used when your child is sick with the stomach flu.   

  • Can I use the Chundee for anything else? 

We created the Chundee to be specifically for vomit. Travel sickness in the car, on the boat, in a plane, gastro as your little one sits on the couch, or in a pram. Children don’t always know when they’re going to vomit and most of the time don’t have a great aim, the Chundee solves this problem, it is right there ready to be used as needed. Whatever the time, wherever the place!
Although it is food safe so if you needed it for a popcorn bucket at the cinema you can go right ahead (parent supervision is required at all times)

1. What countries do you ship to?
We ship to New Zealand, the USA, Canada, the UK and many other countries worldwide. If your country isn’t listed at checkout, please contact us, and we’ll help arrange a solution.

2. How much does international shipping cost?
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location. Here's a general guide:

  • New Zealand: From $20 AUD (shipped from Australia)

  • USA & Canada: Lower, local rates starting from approx $10–$15 AUD (shipped from our US 3PL via DHL)

  • UK & Europe: From $33 AUD (shipped from Australia)

Final shipping costs are shown at checkout and may vary depending on your country and order size.

3. How long will it take to receive my order?

  • New Zealand: 5–7 business days (shipped from Australia)

  • USA: 3–6 business days (shipped from our US 3PL via DHL)

  • Canada: 5–10 business days (shipped from our US 3PL via DHL)

  • UK & Europe: 10–15 business days (shipped from Australia)

Please note: These are estimates and may vary due to customs processing or delivery network delays.

4. Will I have to pay customs or import taxes?
Yes, customs duties, taxes, or import fees may apply depending on the laws of your country. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient. For more details, please check with your local customs office.

5. Is my order quality assured?
Yes! Australian orders are packed and quality-checked by us. International orders are fulfilled by our trusted 3PL in the USA, and we have full confidence in their packaging and quality control processes to ensure every Chundee arrives just as it should.

6. Can I track my international order?
Yes! Once your order has shipped, you’ll receive a tracking number to follow its journey.

7. What should I do if I haven’t received my order yet?
If your order is delayed, please check the tracking information for updates. If there’s an issue with delivery, feel free to contact us, and we’ll assist in resolving it as quickly as possible.

Pre-Order FAQs

1.  When do pre-orders open?
Pre-orders open Friday, July 18th! You'll be able to secure your Chundee before it officially hits the shelves.

2. When will my order be shipped?
Chundee is currently in production, and stock is expected to land in early August. Orders will be shipped out between August 15th and 22nd.
If our stock arrives earlier, we’ll ship your order out ASAP!

3. Will I get my Chundee straight away?
No, this is a pre-order, which means you’re securing your Chundee ahead of time. You will not receive your order until our stock arrives mid August. But we promise it’s worth the wait

4. How much stock is available for pre-order?
Only a limited number of Chundees will be available during this pre-order window. Once that stock sells out, you’ll need to wait until we officially go live with the rest of our inventory. Don’t miss out!

5. Will pre-orders close at a certain time?
Pre-orders will stay open until we sell out. Once our limited pre-order stock is gone, that’s it pre-orders will close, and you’ll need to wait until we officially go live. If you’re keen to get your hands on a Chundee early, we recommend jumping in quickly!
