FAQ
-
The Chundee is suitable for 6 months right through until your child is able to hold a bucket themselves. Our eldest daughter is 5 and can still use it if needed.
-
Up to 1L of liquid, which is roughly 2-3 times more than a small child is likely to vomit.
-
We recommend having 2 to 3 wet bags per Chundee. This gives you one in use, one to wash, and one as backup — especially handy for travel or when accidents happen back-to-back.
To make life easier, you can add an extra wet bag for only $11.95 when checking out. Parents tell us it's one of the best extras to have on hand!
-
Absolutely!! If you travel at all whether it be by road, sky or sea, the Chundee is ALWAYS a good idea. With the handy wet bag to store it in you can fold it up and pack it in your nappy bag or store it in the car for the “just in case” moments. Chundee is not just for the car. It can be used when your child is sick with the stomach flu.

As parents of three amazing children, we take health & safety very seriously. All Chundee products are BPA, Pthlates and PVC free, so you can be assured that when choosing our products that your children are safe.
Why is this important? While Australia has not yet banned these materials (unlike the EU and USA), research has shown that the use of BPA, Pthlates and PVC could cause harm, with connections to developmental & hormonal issues and various cancers.
Moreover, PVC is a known carcinogen, it is difficult to recycle, and the production of PVC has adverse outcomes on the environment. When it comes to the safety of our children and protecting the environment, we avoid these materials.

Yes, the Chundee wet bag is 100% waterproof. It is made from PUL fabric (100% polyester) and designed to safely store your Chundee whether it is clean or dirty. Unlike standard wet bags, ours is stitched along the edges and hot pressed on both sides for extra protection against leaks.
We have tested it with large amounts of water, and as long as it is kept upright, there will be no leakage. It also features a press stud handle for easy hanging and convenience on the go. The bag is free from lead, phthalates and BPA, making it a safe and practical option for everyday use.

Chundee is made from food-grade silicone, which is naturally odour-resistant. However, with frequent use and prolonged exposure to vomit or other messes, smells can occasionally develop.
If this happens, try one of the following cleaning methods to help remove lingering odours:
1. Boiling water (most effective)
• Boil in plain water for 5–10 minutes
• Helps release trapped smells
2. Dishwasher heat cycle
• Top rack only
• Heat + steam helps deodorise
3. Baking soda soak
• Soak in warm water with baking soda
• Rinse well and air dry
4. White vinegar rinse (occasional use)
• Light vinegar rinse, then wash with soap
• Good for stubborn smells
5. Sunlight + air drying
• Let it fully dry in open air
• UV + airflow help neutralise odours
